Experienced Online Math Tutor | Algebra 2 through AP Calculus - lessons & tutoring

I’m a civil engineer with over 10 years of experience tutoring high school math. I’ve always kept a small tutoring caseload, typically 3-5 students at a time, so I can give each student individual attention and prepare for their specific needs.

I tutor:

• Algebra 2

• Trigonometry

• Precalculus

• AP Calculus AB

My approach is highly personalized. Before we begin, I take time to understand each student’s personality, interests, confidence level, and experience with math so I can adapt how I explain concepts and choose examples that connect with them.

Sessions are one-on-one through Google Meet. I share my tablet screen as a digital whiteboard and work through problems step by step, focusing on understanding, not just getting the answer.

Students are encouraged to send homework, review sheets, or questions at least 24 hours in advance so I can prepare and make the session as productive as possible.

**Rate: $80/hour**

Most sessions are 90 minutes.

I currently have limited Tuesday-Thursday evening availability and am accepting only 2-3 regular students.

Payment is due 24 hours before the session via Venmo or Zelle.
